Construction

Forearm phantom:

manufactured from a silicone-carbon-based mixture (color:Black) with material properties according to CTIA definitions for hand phantoms; supported by a conductive inner skeleton providing a conductive connection to the hand phantom; a special low-loss silicone coating is applied to mmW-RFP/LFP-V2 that extends the frequency range beyond 100 GHz 

V3 positioning spacers:

thin grid of 3 mm thickness made of low-loss plastic (dielectric constant<5.0, loss-tangent <0.05)

SHO Fixture Version 5 (replaces SHO-FX-HOTV4)

Low-loss high precision fixture for positioning of SPEAG's phantoms (Note: the color of V5 is pink while V4 was red)

Application:Precise and stable positioning of SPEAG's phantoms on most commercial OTA-chamber turntables (e.g., ETS-Lindgren). This fixture has the same features as the discontinued SHO-FX-HOTV4 except for positioning the axis of the forearm and ankle in line with the rotation axis.

Compliance:Fully compliant with CTIA certification standard "Test Plan for Wireless Device Over-the-Air Performance" for frequency range 0.3 – 6 GHz

Low-loss spacers for accurate and repeatable positioning of devices on SHO-RFP/LFP-V2 forearm phantom

Application:Positioning of wrist-worn devices on the forearm phantom at a precise 3 mm spacing to the skin; top and bottom spacers can be used individually or together to create a 3 mm device-skin spacing on the top or bottom surfaces of the forearm
